Level 4 hands you a board where nothing is hidden and every colour sits in the open. Do not trust that. The left side of the tray is stacked four marbles tall, the right side only two, and the two clusters that look like free progress at the start are the exact two you must not touch.
The four colours in play are Orange, Green, Blue and Yellow, and the level is won or lost in the first five taps. There are no mystery boxes here — the board is visible from the first second. The trap is not what is hidden. The trap is the front row, which demands three Oranges while every Orange is buried on the right.
The Marble Sort Level 4 board
The tray is shaped like an uneven staircase. The two columns on the left are four marbles high; the two on the right are only two. Read the bottom row of the tray left to right and you get Green, Yellow, Orange, Orange.
Below sit the four boxes that actually matter. Left to right they read Orange, Orange, Blue, Orange. That is the whole puzzle in one line: three of the four boxes want Orange, and the only Orange you can reach sits on the right, behind a Green and a Yellow you are not allowed to play yet.
Read only the boxes and the level shows itself. Three Orange boxes, one Blue box, and not a single Green or Yellow box at the start. The two most tempting clusters — the Green and Yellow on the left — have nowhere to go. The colour that wins the level is Orange, and Orange is the last thing the board hands you.
The trap in Marble Sort Level 4
The trap is the Green and Yellow on the left. They sit at the bottom of the two tallest stacks, fully visible, and they look like easy progress. They are bait. No Green or Yellow box is open at the start, so tapping either one drops it onto the conveyor belt with nowhere to land — it eats a slot, the belt jams, and you hit a dead end before the board has shifted. The level is built to make you reach for the left side first. The solve is to refuse it and clear the short right side.
How to clear Marble Sort Level 4
Clear the right Orange first
- Tap the two bottom-right Orange clusters. They feed the first two Orange boxes and shift the board.
- Leave the left side alone. Do not touch the Green or the Yellow at the bottom of the left stacks — no box will catch them.
- Tap the Blue that appears. Clearing the Orange reveals a Blue block, and the third box in the row is Blue.
Release the second layer
- Tap the left Green. The first layer is gone, and the Green boxes have slid forward to catch it.
- Tap the Green that opens on the right. It feeds the remaining Green box and the belt runs clean.
- Still do not touch the Yellow. Its box is buried at the back of column four — it has to wait its turn.
Finish the left stack
- Tap the Yellow at the bottom of column two the moment its box pushes forward.
- Clear the Orange and Blue above it as their boxes surface.
- Match the final boxes one at a time, keeping the belt empty on every last tap.
The technique that clears Marble Sort Level 4
The rule Level 4 teaches is the same one every later level leans on: the colour sitting closest to your hand is usually the one with no box waiting. The Green and Yellow look like the obvious start, and they are exactly wrong. Clear the short side that has ready boxes first, and the tall side opens on its own. Never drop a marble until you can see its box at the front of the row.
Marble Sort Level 4 FAQ
Why does my belt flood on Marble Sort Level 4?
You tapped the Green or Yellow on the left before any box would catch them. Neither has an active box at the start, so the marble loops on the belt and eats a slot. Only Orange and Blue can leave the tray in the first phase — clear those first.
How many moves does it take to clear Marble Sort Level 4?
Around ten taps across three phases — the two Orange, then Blue, then the Greens, then the Yellow and the leftover stack. Follow the order above and nothing gets stranded.
Do I need boosters to beat Marble Sort Level 4?
No. Clear the two Orange on the right first and the level unlocks itself. Save your boosters for the hidden-box levels right after it.
