The Marble Sort Level 1 board
The tray holds six clusters in a 2×3 checkerboard. Front row, left to right: Yellow, Light Blue, Yellow. Behind them: Light Blue, Yellow, Light Blue. Below sit four boxes in a line — Light Blue, Yellow, Yellow, Light Blue.
The trap in Marble Sort Level 1
The two end boxes both want Light Blue, and there are only three Light Blues on the board. One sits in the middle, where you can reach it. The other two are pinned behind the outer Yellow clusters, out of reach. Tap the middle Light Blue first and it feeds one end box — then the other end box is stranded with no Light Blue left to reach it, and the board jams.
How to clear Marble Sort Level 1
- Tap the front-left Yellow. It drops into the middle-left Yellow box.
- Tap the front-right Yellow. It clears the middle-right Yellow box, and the back row is now exposed.
- Tap the back-left Light Blue. It feeds the far-left box.
- Tap the back-right Light Blue. It feeds the far-right box, and both ends clear.
- Tap the front-middle Light Blue. The one you left alone at the start — a box is ready for it now.
- Tap the last Yellow. The back-middle cluster goes, and the board is clear.
The technique that clears Marble Sort Level 1
Clear the blockers, not the bait. The colour sitting out front is usually the one to leave alone; the colour that looks like filler is usually hiding what you actually need. Strip the outer Yellow first and the board opens on your terms. Every later level repeats this same trick — it just hides the blockers better.
