Marble Sort Boosters: Cannon, Magnet & Shuffle

Three boosters, three different emergencies. Spend the right one at the right moment and hard levels stop being hard — spend it late and you restart.

Cannon — the Belt Reset

The Cannon fires every marble off the conveyor belt at once. It's the panic button: when the belt is clogged with homeless marbles and a loss is one drop away, the Cannon wipes it clean and gives you a fresh start without restarting the whole level.

Best use: the moment the belt is about to flood — never after. If you wait until the belt is already full, the run is over before the Cannon can help.

Magnet — the Buried-Color Pull

The Magnet drops a specific box into play from above — or pulls the exact box you need straight out of the tray. It's the answer to buried colors: instead of clearing a whole stack of marbles just to reach the one color underneath, the Magnet grabs the box you want directly.

Best use: when the color you need is trapped under others and the belt is starting to fill. One Magnet beats three or four wasted drops.

Shuffle — the Box Rearrange

The Shuffle rearranges the bottom slots — the boxes and their positions. If the box you need is stuck in a bad spot on the belt's rotation, or the slots don't line up with the color you're trying to clear, a Shuffle gives you a new arrangement to work with.

Best use: when your target box is in an awkward position and you keep dropping strays waiting for it to come around.

When to Spend vs. Save

The single most common booster mistake is saving them for "later." On hard levels, a booster used early to prevent a flood is cheaper than a restart forty taps in. The rule of thumb:

  • Belt nearly full? → Cannon, now.
  • Need a buried color? → Magnet, don't dig for it.
  • Box in a bad spot? → Shuffle, stop forcing strays.
Pro tip:

Treat boosters as insurance, not rewards. The best booster is the one you didn't need to spend — but the second-best is the one spent one drop before the flood.

FAQ

Boosters — FAQ

What are the three boosters in Marble Sort?

Cannon clears the belt, Magnet drops the box you need, and Shuffle rearranges the bottom slots.

When should I use the Cannon?

As a panic button the moment the belt is about to flood — never after. It wipes the belt clean so you can start a fresh order.

What does the Magnet do?

It pulls a specific box or buried color out of the top tray, so you don't clear the stack above it to reach the color you need.

Is it better to save boosters?

Usually not. On hard levels, spending a booster early to prevent a flood is cheaper than restarting forty taps in.
