Marble Sort Level 48 dresses a trap in bright colours. Light Blue, Light Pink, Orange, Green, and Red crowd the front, and the Top Tray is a rigid U whose two outer arms are nothing but a Hidden Box chain. A few Yellow and Orange blocks peek out higher, but most of the side columns are question marks.

Two Tunnels sit dead centre, both stamped 4, so four separate blocks must drop from the front before they open and release the Green and Red trapped inside. The bottom Boxes want Purple, Red, Light Pink, and Red — and that is where the trouble starts.

The first reachable row reads Light Blue, Light Pink, Orange, Green, Red, and a second Light Blue. The far-left Box wants Purple, yet there are zero Purple blocks to grab — every Purple is buried inside that Hidden Box chain. That makes the Light Blue, Orange, and Green up front total bait.

The Red and Light Pink at the front are your only safe plays because they match the Boxes below. Dropping them clears those Boxes and ticks the Tunnel counters, and that rhythm is the entire level: drive both 4-counters to zero without parking orphan colours on the belt.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 48 — Step-by-Step

Survive the first drops

1. At the base of the tray, find a Red block and a Light Pink block sitting side by side.
2. Release both of them downward onto the belt.
3. Each one finds a home in the Red and Light Pink Boxes waiting in the grid below.
4. Leave the Light Blues on the far edges untouched, along with the Orange and Green parked under the Tunnels — those four are decoys.
5. Notice the central Tunnels tick from 4 down to 2 as those first pieces land.
6. With the front cleared, fresh targets roll up from below, which lets you start peeling the front of each Hidden Box chain.

Crack the Hidden Box chain

Once the first blocks are gone the board shifts, and the lower area gets more complicated.

1. Scan the newly exposed pieces from the Hidden Box chain for Purple — that is what clears the far-left Box that has sat empty all level.
2. As soon as a Purple flips over, send it down; clearing that left Box reshuffles the whole lower grid.
3. Keep taking the safe colours from the front to push the Tunnels to zero.
4. At zero, each Tunnel hands over a Green block and a Red block, and since the centre columns now show Green and Red Boxes, feed those straight down.

Clear the midgame jam

1. Watch the lower Boxes lock into their final lineup — plenty of Yellow, Pink, and Blue on the left, with Light Blue and Orange on the right.
2. The Light Blue blocks from the bottom corners finally have a use, so drop them into the Light Blue Boxes now showing on the right.
3. Make Yellow the priority; a cluster of Yellows hides in the top half of the U and will pour down as the chain dissolves, so steer them into the Yellow Boxes waiting below.
4. Keep the flow going — clear Blue, Green, and Pink as their Boxes roll in — and save the Orange blocks for the very end.

Tips & tricks

• Purple is the key that is hiding, so the moment a Purple flips out of the Hidden Box chain, bank it — it clears the far-left Box and shifts everything.
• Only the Red and Light Pink are safe in the opening. Everything else in the front row has no Box yet.
• The two Tunnels drop Green and Red when they hit zero, so have centre-column Boxes ready for that exact moment.

Common mistakes

• Releasing the Orange or Green under the Tunnels early. They drop onto the belt with nowhere to go and choke your space before the counters reach zero.
• Leaving the far-left Purple Box for last. It sits behind the Hidden Box chain, so the whole board stalls until you clear it.
