Then tap the solid Yellow block (far right) to fill the Yellow Box. Next, tap the two solid Green blocks (left side) to clear the Green Box. As you clear these, new Boxes are revealed underneath: the first Light Blue Box reveals a solid Green Box, and the first Green Box reveals another Light Blue Box. This cycling lets you continue feeding.

The specific trap is the third striped block from the left: it contains Pink and Orange, which have no active Box at the start. Releasing it early would jam your belt. So, you must first create space by clearing the initial safe blocks.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 479 — Step-by-Step

Phase one: Clearing the Front-Row Safe Blocks

1. Tap the solid Light Blue block in the second row (third column from left). This sends Light Blue marbles to both the far-left and far-right bottom Boxes.
2. Tap the solid Yellow block in the second row (far right). This fills the Yellow bottom Box in the third column.
3. Tap the leftmost solid Green block in the second row. This clears the Green bottom Box in the second column.
4. Tap the second solid Green block (next to the first). This will feed the newly revealed Green Box under the original Light Blue Box, or clear the remaining Green if needed.
5. After clearing the first Light Blue Box, you will see a new Light Blue Box appear under the Green Box. Tap the solid Light Blue block again if it is still available, or use the one you already tapped to keep feeding.
6. Now, tap the second striped block (from left) which contains Red, Light Blue, and Green. The Light Blue and Green marbles will immediately sort into the open Boxes, leaving only a few Red marbles on the belt.

Phase two: Activating the Multiplier Gates

1. Tap the leftmost striped block (Green, Yellow, Brown). This releases Green and Yellow, which now have active Boxes (the Yellow Box from the third column and the Green Box revealed earlier). Brown marbles will sit on the belt temporarily.
2. Tap the fourth striped block (from left) containing Yellow, Pink, and Light Blue. The Yellow and Light Blue will find their Boxes, while Pink marbles accumulate on the belt.
3. Watch for a Pink Box to appear in the third column's lower area. Tap it to clear the Pink marbles from the belt.
4. Now, look at the blocks above the Multiplier Gates. Do not tap them until you have a matching bottom Box ready. When a Green Box is fully visible, tap a Green block above a gate. The marbles will double and fill the Box, clearing it instantly.

Phase three: Mopping Up the Late-Game Colors

1. Release the third striped block (Pink, Green, Orange) only after an Orange Box appears in the third column. This will let the Orange marbles drop into place.
