Marble Sort Level 40 — Walkthrough and Solution

Level 40 is the twin panel trap. Four fat clusters sit at the base of the tray but only Light Blue has Boxes waiting — clear Light Blue then White, and leave the Red and Green clusters until the hidden stacks expose their homes.

⚡ Quick clear

Light Blue → Red. Only drop a colour when its box is ready.

Marble Sort Level 40 dangles four oversized blocks in front of you and dares you to fire the wrong one. Red, Light Blue, White, and Green sit along the base of the Top Tray, while the top half of the board is sealed behind mystery tiles. Two blue Panels, each stamped 3, block the middle until three bottom Boxes have cleared.

Along the base you get Red, Light Blue, White, then Green. One level up, the tray holds six loose singles — White, Dark Blue, Purple, Yellow, Light Blue, and another White — stretched across the middle. Higher still are the two Panels, with Pink and Yellow hugging the left edge and Mint Green plus Orange over on the right. The bottom Boxes ask for three Light Blue and a single Yellow on the top layer.

Marble Sort Level 40 Walkthrough

The trap springs the second you go hunting for Red or Green Boxes, because there are none at the start. Fire the bottom-left Red or bottom-right Green block and the marbles drop straight onto the belt with nowhere to land. With all those Hidden Boxes buried below, there is no telling when Red or Green becomes playable.

Belt pressure climbs hard around the midgame. Once the Light Blue Boxes clear, White Boxes open up, then a jumble of Orange, Mint Green, and Purple all want space at once. You need empty slots to juggle those colours, so the opening has to bank three safe clears without touching the bait.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 40 — Step-by-Step

Escape the opening trap

  1. Fire the Light Blue block on the bottom row — it pours into the matching Light Blue Boxes below.
  2. Grab the single Light Blue from the row above to finish off the last Light Blue Box — that is your first clear.
  3. Grab the lone Yellow from that row and drop it into the Yellow Box sitting open in column three.
  4. Pause here and study the Red and Green blocks along the base. Let them be.
  5. Now pull the White singles from that upper row — finishing the Light Blue Boxes has uncovered a few White Boxes underneath.
  6. Send the big White block at the base down into the White Boxes that just surfaced.

Break the Panels

Clearing the Light Blue and White Boxes forces the two Panels to hit zero, and they vanish to expose the centre.

  1. A fresh layer of marbles is now in reach, Dark Blue and Red included, right in the middle.
  2. Watch the first wave of Hidden Boxes turn over as Orange, Mint Green, and Purple Boxes come alive.
  3. Pair the Mint Green and Orange marbles sitting on the outer edges with these fresh Boxes.
  4. Column one's Purple Box is now live, so send the lone Purple over from the left of the second row to clear it.

Survive the midgame crush

  1. The Hidden Boxes down low now demand Green and Red, so fire the bottom-right Green block — its Boxes have finally surfaced.
  2. Then fire the bottom-left Red block, since the front stacks are cleared and the Red Boxes stand ready.
  3. Work the top mystery tiles one tile at a time to expose hidden Yellow, Dark Blue, and Pink.
  4. Go after the big Yellow block near the upper-left corner of the mystery zone and feed it to the waiting Yellow Boxes.
  5. Keep the leftover belt space for mismatched mystery tiles, and finish off the last Dark Blue and Mint Green pairings.

Tips & tricks

  • The Red and Green clusters are traps until the midgame. Only the Light Blue cluster and the White blocks have Boxes ready in the opening.
  • Treat the Panels as a three-clear timer — Light Blue, then White, gets you there without touching the bait.
  • Pull the top mystery tiles one at a time so a bad reveal never dumps a colour you cannot place.

Common mistakes

  • Tapping the Red or Green cluster in the opening. Neither has a Box, so they strand on the belt and clog your space before the midgame.
  • Rushing the top mystery tiles. They reveal Yellow, Dark Blue, and Pink in a hidden order, and a mismatched pull with a full belt ends the run.

Marble Sort Level 40 FAQ

Why does my Conveyor Belt flood on Marble Sort Level 40?

You tapped the bottom-left Red or bottom-right Green cluster before their Boxes appeared. Neither has a Box at the start, so the marbles drop dead onto the belt and clog it.

Which color do I clear first on Marble Sort Level 40?

The Light Blue cluster on the bottom row, plus the single Light Blue above it. They fill the three Light Blue Boxes and start the Panel countdown.

How many moves does it take to clear Marble Sort Level 40?

Roughly a dozen taps across three phases — the Light Blue and White clears, breaking the Panels, then the late Green and Red clusters. Leave the bait for last.

Do I need boosters to beat Marble Sort Level 40?

No. Clear Light Blue then White and the Panels break themselves. Save boosters for the midgame crush when Orange, Mint Green, and Purple all demand space at once.

What happens if I tap the Red cluster early on Marble Sort Level 40?

It drops onto the belt with no Red Box open, so the whole cluster sits dead and chokes your space while the hidden stacks are still buried.
