How to Beat Marble Sort Level 196 — Step-by-Step

Opening the Left Flank

1. Start by dropping the Dark Blue marbles from the second and fourth columns of the Top Tray into the two front Dark Blue Boxes on the left.
2. Completely ignore the Pink and Teal on the right side for now.
3. Next, guide the Light Blue marble from the far-left column through the x2 Multiplier Gate. It will double, filling the Light Blue requirement.
4. After clearing the front-left Dark Blue Box, a Purple Box is revealed underneath. This is your new target.

Breaking the Yellow Lock

1. Now that the left side is clear, carefully pull the exposed Purple marbles from the upper right columns and deliver them to the newly revealed Purple Box.
2. With the Purple Box being filled, you can now safely tap the Teal marble on the bottom right of the Top Tray, as its matching Box is now accessible.
3. As you remove the Purple and Teal, the marbles supporting the yellow center lock will drop away, causing the structure to shift and free the Red and Green marbles trapped in the middle.
4. Keep an eye on the Conveyor Belt capacity. Do not drop Pink until you see a cluster of three or more in the Top Tray, because a Pink Box will soon be exposed.

Surviving the Late Game

1. Once the yellow lock is fully broken, you'll see a large cluster of Green marbles on the right. Do not release them until the Green Box is at the very front of the bottom area.
2. Use the Multiplier Gate for any leftover colors on the left, but be careful: dropping one marble will produce two, so only do this if you need both to fill a Box.
